This tutorial will show you how to change your blog summaries to use excerpts instead. This is useful if you want a consistent look at your blog home page (and categories). Excerpts will also hide all formatting and page elements from view.
- Log in to your WordPress Administration dashboard.
- Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Blog Settings.
- Find the Blog Content setting and select the Post Excerpt option.
- In addition to excerpts, you can also change how many words to show for excerpts. Simply adjust the Excerpt Length setting to what you want.
- Click the
